Years Teaching Language

Learn by Experience

Your child will experience the rich culture of 10 Spanish speaking countries through hands-on activities like sampling traditional foods, dancing to vibrant music, and learning about local customs and traditions.

Destinations

We will Tango in Buenos Aires, Salsa in Cuba and Flamenco in Spain. Then visit the Rainforests in  Costa Rica and learn about the fascinating history of the Panama Canal (and how Caribbean people built it!) and much much more!!!

Activities

Tia Eli will share her experience of life in each of these places while introducing trivia about each country like: the capital, flag colors, national food, popular songs, traditional games, and famous people.

Approach

The best way to learn a language is to be consistent, bring it to life and engage with it by reading, listening,
writing and speaking. This 10 week virtual camp covers all areas and you get a FREE manual so that the whole family can join in the fun!

30+ years and 2.5 Bilingual Kids later...

Tía Eli (aka Elizabeth Dennis) has not only raised bilingual kids,
but has supported the language learning journeys of hundreds of native English and Spanish speakers.

Learning a new language opens doors to countless opportunities! When I went to live in Venezuela at 19, I never knew how far becoming bilingual was going to take me.  I have since worked for local and international corporations seeking to expand their businesses in Latin America. These jobs allowed me to travel to 9 of the 20 Spanish speaking countries in the region where I got to meet amazing people and learn new cultures!
Raising a bilingual child is not for the faint of heart, but it is absolutely worth it! I was raised by monolingual parents, became bilingual in my late teens and raised my three children bilingually.  Each child taught me new ways of raising bilingual kids and in addition to English, my 1st child understands most Spanish, my 2nd child speaks Spanish and Mandarin and my 3rd child speaks Spanish and is constantly exploring new languages. 
Since 1991, I have introduced Spanish to kids through Spanish Camps. I have also supported and prepared teens and adults for the CSEC Spanish exam with a 100 % pass rate and trained and taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to native Spanish speakers with similar results.
